AS Stuber GmbH mainly offers traditional electrical engineering services and has been operating successfully in the regional market since 2005. AS Stuber GmbH will continue to trade in the local market under its own name and will now be managed by Sergio Lo Stanco Elektro AG in Biberist. The former shareholder and managing director, Mr Othmar Stuber, is retiring from day-to-day operations but will continue to be involved in the company in an advisory capacity.
Stronger presence in the greater Solothurn area
To date, the Burkhalter Group has been represented by Sergio Lo Stanco Elektro AG in Biberist. The purchase of AS Stuber GmbH gives it another company in the greater Solothurn area.
AS Stuber GmbH is the Burkhalter Group’s 22nd acquisition since its IPO in June 2008. It is a part of the Group’s strategy to achieve inorganic growth via the targeted purchase of other Swiss electrical engineering companies.
