Peter Eliot joins Helvetia Group in November as the new Head of Investor Relations. He is currently Head of Insurance Sector Research at Kepler Cheuvreux.
Peter Eliot will take over as Head of Investor Relations at Helvetia Group in November. Peter Eliot is currently Head of Insurance Sector Research at Kepler Cheuvreux. He previously held a similar role at Berenberg. Peter Eliot has 19 years of experience in research and financial analysis. He also has in-depth knowledge of the insurance sector and started his career as an actuarial and later strategy consultant with Bacon & Woodrow and Deloitte. He holds a MEng in Engineering Science from St Catherine's College, Oxford. In his new role, Peter Eliot will be responsible for communicating with the financial markets and maintaining relationships with investors and financial analysts. He will report directly to Group CFO Annelis Lüscher Hämmerli. "It is essential that investors and financial analysts understand our figures and our strategy. I am therefore very happy that in Peter Eliot we have gained a proven expert in these areas as Head of Investor Relations," says Annelis Lüscher Hämmerli, Group CFO of Helvetia.
Philipp Schüpbach, who has worked in Helvetia's Investor Relations team for nine years and has been its head since autumn 2021, has decided to pursue a new opportunity outside the company. He will leave Helvetia at the end of September. "I would like to thank Philipp Schüpbach for his great commitment. He has been instrumental in successfully positioning strategic milestones such as the acquisition of Caser and the introduction of IFRS 17/9 in the capital markets," says Annelis Lüscher Hämmerli.
