Wellington Management Company, LLP, Boston, Massachusetts, USA, notified us - Deutsche Börse AG, Neue Börsenstraße 1, 60487 Frankfurt/Main, Germany - on 12 May 2009 of the following voting rights notification pursuant to § 21 WpHG:

A. Wellington Management Company, LLP, Boston, Massachusetts ('Wellington Management'), is registered as an investment adviser with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission under section 203 of the Investment Advisors Act of 1940, as amended and acts as discretionary investment manager on behalf of various separate accounts (the 'Accounts'), that hold interests in various shares. Wellington Management's interest in shares is as an investment manager. The Accounts do not act as a group nor do they act in concert with respect to the interests in shares. Wellington Management acquires the interests in shares for the Accounts in its capacity as discretionary investment manager to, and solely for the benefit of, the Accounts, and the interests were acquired solely for investment purposes.

B. Deutsche Börse AG, Neue Börsenstraße 1, 60487 Frankfurt am Main, Germany (the 'Issuer').

C. Wellington Management hereby notifies in accordance with section 21 (1) sent. 1 WpHG, that its voting interest in the Issuer has decreased below the 3 per cent threshold on 08 May 2009 and now holds in the aggregate of the Accounts 2.98 per cent, which corresponds to 5,820,442 voting rights. 2.98 per cent of the voting rights in the Issuer which corresponds to 5,820,442 voting rights that are attributed to Wellington Management according to section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG.
