With a share of apprenticeships of around 6.5% (190 apprentices) of full-time positions, Sunrise will be training the highest number of apprentices in the ICT sector from the beginning of August. The goal is to continue to employ as many young talents as possible after their apprenticeship: «Qualified ICT specialists are in high demand. That's why we also offer motivated and ambitious apprentices long-term prospects with us. From August 2022, we will employ around 60% of all apprentices as permanent professionals,» says Felix Häberli, Head of Young Talents at Sunrise.
In the future, Sunrise will invest even more in developing qualified specialists, further expanding the number of apprenticeships to a total of 250 by summer 2025. The focus is particularly on the digital professions of mediamatician and IT specialist.
